Update (2010/02/09): Another hotfix

• Sindragosa's Mystic Buffet will now pulse every 6 six seconds, up from 5 seconds. In the normal 10 player encounter the debuff increase has also been slightly reduced.
• In the Toravon encounter, the effect of the Whiteout debuff has been reduced. Additionally, the damage done by Frozen Orbs has been reduced.

Also, limited attempts for Putricide, Blood Queen, Sindragosa and Lich King will be removed next wednesday.

Update (2010/02/05): Hotfixery!

• Blood Queen Lana'thel will now begin her flight phase a little earlier in 25 player mode, Vampiric Bite is no longer mitigated by armor, and the damage of Vampiric Bite has been reduced.

Patch 3.3.2 hits today, in 10 minutes if everything goes well.

Today we get introduced to some more Frost Emblem-earning opportunities:

• The Frostwing Halls has been opened. It is now possible to go all the way to the Lich King.
• The 8th Arena season and with it, the last Vault of Archavon boss has been added; Toravon.
• New weekly quests inside Icecrown Citadel raid instance. There will be NPCs spawning randomly in (presumeably) 5 locations within Icecrown Citadel. The rewards from the Sack of Frosty Treasures are according to rumours, 5 emblems of frost and a shot at random epic gems or BoE epics that drop within Icecrown Citadel.
  The quests are all very different and involve doing encounters in a speedy manner, dealing with extra adds or simply fighting new mini-bosses.

Other updates:

• Some sexy buffs for Elemental shamans, Warlocks and Balance druids. Prot warriors have been changed around a bit, I assume it's the "PvP nerf" there was talk of earlier. More info in the official patch notes.
• A bunch of heroics get speeded up, check the official patch notes for more info.
• Fixed a bug where players with Raid Assist capabilities were unable to perform a Ready Check. <--- Oh no, Harzu!
• New strength-based melee DPS rings are now available from representatives of the Ashen Verdict.
• Tier-9 Sets: The Aspirant vendors at the Argent Tournament grounds have worked out a deal with merchants in Dalaran so that all item level 232 set pieces will now be available on armor vendors in the city. Set pieces which require trophies will still be available for purchase only from vendors at the Argent Tournament grounds.

• Blood Queen Lana’thel will only be available after the Blood Prince Council is defeated.
• Blood Queen Lana’thel's Essence has a longer duration.
• Kinetic Bombs no longer aggro Blood Queen Lana’thel during the Blood Princes encounter.
• Blood Queen Lana'thel should no longer cast Vampiric Bite on pets.

When we we're in there in the 10man last night, we did not experience the 3 bugs above which means we must've been lucky. However, the increased essence duration from the Blood Queen is a significant nerf which might make the encounter more doable with less than faboulus gear.
We had 50 seconds of 100% increased damage from the essence last night, it'll be very interesting to see how much time we'll get in the next run!

Patch 3.3 will be applied on european servers tomorrow, so now is a good time to read up on the changes coming for your class. Complete patch notes here.

The patch is so enermous that I won't post all of it here, but some of the upcoming changes that affects us all are:


Icecrown Citadel

• New Dungeon: The Frozen Halls. Has 3 seperate wings; The Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron and Halls of Reflection.
• New Raid: Icecrown Citadel. Has 4 wings and 13 bosses. You can check out some tactics for the first wing here.
• New LFG system: Instead of the old clunky manual way of putting together random groups, WoW will now do it for you with players from across several realms. Also the daily heroic is no more, instead you'll be given 2 Frost emblems when you do your first random heroic of the day.
• Frost emblem is the new Triumph emblem, you can earn them by doing Icecrown Citadel, your first random heroic every day and the new weekly raid quest. You'll be earning Triumph emblems in heroics and all previous raids.
• Buying tier gear has changed somewhat, you now need to buy the 10man version (ilvl 251) of the tier gear to be able to get the 25man version (ilvl 264).

Other

• A new Quest tracking feature has been added. This means you can all remove QuestHelper and speed up your raiding :)
• For you boosters/boostees out there: To use any Meeting Stone, it is only required that the character’s minimum level be 15. There is no maximum character level requirement for any Meeting Stone.
